When research revealed a perception that the Atascadero Chamber had gotten away from its mission, one of the priorities with which new director Derek Kirk was tasked was a rebrand and website redesign. However, since serving existing members was such a priority, A) the rebrand had to be just right—namely, it needed to honor the past, celebrate the community, and look toward the future—and B), the new website really needed to be a hub that served and celebrated the Chamber’s highly-valued members.
The new Chamber logo highlights the storied El Camino Real which runs through the heart of Atascadero’s business district. Much like the Chamber itself, El Camino Real is a catalyst for business growth, a convener of leaders and influencers, and a champion for a stronger community. To take it a step further, we took a stylized map of Atascadero and incorporated it into a mosaic, stained-glass design that tastefully nods to the area’s heritage.
The Atascadero Chamber rebrand remains one of our favorite projects to date. We trust the new brand and the website will continue to serve their members as well as their community for years to come.
