Unfortunately, like many churches, Firm Foundation had experienced a difficult time of internal tension before finding a place of stability under leadership that was committed to each other and to humbly serving their small flock. That opened the door for the eventual calling of northern-Arizona native Lloyd Murphy, a graduate of The Master’s Seminary in southern California. Lloyd brought with him a set of firm convictions on essential points, like the priority of verse-by-verse preaching, a biblical model of qualified leadership, and the need for pastors to be truly pastoral—tenderhearted and caring for the sheep, much like the Great Shepherd under whom they serve.

The objective behind the Firm Foundation brand was simply to develop a brand voice that communicates those values clearly and effectively to the Prescott-area community whom they exist to serve, and to help them project that message as far and wide as possible.

results

As of late summer of 2021, 1 year after the new brand, new website launch, and a modest digital strategy including social content and ads, Firm Foundation has more than doubled its average weekly attendance.
