Miracle City Church (Baltimore, MD) needed a mark that accurately captured the moment of their 50th year in existence. Some objectives we identified with them were energetic but not playful, thoughtful but not boring, modern but not offensive to more mature tastes, and, most of all, it needed to be something reminiscent of the late 1960s. The solution not only fit the bill, but followed in the spirit of Lance Wyman’s branding of the 1968 Olympics.
